Womack & Bosch Rexroth: Global Scale to Local Level
2023 has been a banner year for Womack thus far. We’ve celebrated our 70th Anniversary, combined forces with Morrell Group and become a Bosch Rexroth Mobile Solutions Provider Certified Excellence Partner. We formed a team of application experts with years of experience designing and launching complete mobile systems under their belts, who are focused on creating world-class solutions for mobile applications. This partnership allows Womack to expand its system design capabilities and resources, giving all customers, big or small, access to next-gen technologies. As a long-time distribution partner of Bosch Rexroth, we’re excited to expand our system design capabilities within our service region.
The Certified Excellence Program is global in scale, but the purpose behind it is to bring Bosch Rexroth’s resources and application assistance to customers at a local level. Bosch Rexroth is well-known in the industry for integrating mobile solutions for the past 40 years and for being at the forefront of the rise of electrification in the last 15-20 years. They saw an opportunity to expand their resources, therefore expanding excellence. That’s where Mobile Solutions Partners come in.
This extension multiplies engineering resources for the customer, primarily small to medium OEMs. As the demand for mobile machines increases, these OEMs require more capabilities. The aim of the Mobile Solutions Program is to multiply resources and empower distributors to serve their clients better. Womack application experts will work directly with Bosch Rexroth system engineers to find the right technologies and components for each system. This gives Womack’s customers access to Bosch Rexroth’s product lines, product experts and advanced application design software.
Womack was chosen because of both the quality and quantity of systems we produce, as well as our deep knowledge of Bosch Rexroth’s product lines. In order to receive this certification, companies must:
- Complete a 2-year training program
- Align process control
- Have commercial items in place
- Demonstrate an understanding of the current technology shift
Both Bosch Rexroth and Womack effort to view this problem-solution framework from the customer’s point of view, with a holistic mindset. We ask the question: “How do we address your customer’s customers needs?”
